Cities around the US have adopted bikesharing programs to help provide commuters with another transportation option. Although each program has some unique characteristics, the idea is simple. Bikesharing allows individuals to rent a bicycle to connect around the city.
Bike on the Bus
Combining your bike trip with public transit has never been easier! All public transit systems in the Triad offer commuters an option to bring their bike on the bus.
PART Express buses are equipped with bike racks that hold up to two bikes. The bike racks are easy to use and best of all; your bike rides for free! You may use the exterior bike racks during all hours of operation on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a limit of two bicycles per bus. Check out PART’s How to Video and learn how to properly load your bike on the bus.
