Board of Trustees

The PART Board of Trustees is a twenty-three member body comprised of representatives of the four largest cities (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point & Burlington), representatives of the four Metropolitan Planning Organizations of the four urbanized areas, a commissioner from each of the 10 member counties, representatives of the two regional airports, and three representatives of the NCDOT Board of Transportation. The Board meets on the second Wednesday of every month at the PART Office.

Mrs. Whisenhunt has been a member of the PART Board of Trustees since the inaugural meeting in 1998. Mrs. Whisenhunt is a member of the Forsyth Board of County Commissioners.

Mrs. Whisenhunt also maintains the following responsibilities: 1990-1996 Forsyth County Board of Education, Forsyth County School Tech/Prep Advisory Council, Forsyth County Emergency Advisory Council, Forsyth County Airport Authority / Smith Reynolds Airport, State Intergovernmental Committee, National Economic Development Committee

Mr. Williams has been a member of the PART Board of Trustees since 2001. Mr. Williams is the chair of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC).

Mr. Williams also maintains the following responsibilities: Mayor of Rural Hall - 1991-present, Rural Hall Town council 1979-91, Member of statewide storm water implementation guidelines group, Fulton family YMCA Board of Managers
