7:30-8:30am: Participant Check In
8:30am: Road Closes *must be parked
8:50am: Opening Remarks, Congressman Howard Coble
9:00am: Race Start
10:00am: Results/Prizes
10:00-11:00am: Vendors/Snacks/Children’s Bike Rodeo Safety Course
For Children: Kids age 5-12 can participate in the Bike Rodeo, a bicycle safety education program designed to teach safety while having fun. All equipment will be provided. Triad Park also offers play areas for children!
Cost: FREE Registration is signing up to participate in the 4th Annual Triad Commute Challenge!
Logistics: The course is a 3 mile loop on park roads and paved walking trails. The terrain is mixed with flat terrain and rolling hills. The course will be closed to all traffic for 1 hour, runners and walkers must be parked by 8:30am and off the course by 10:00am to ensure their safety. Participants who are accompanied by pets or children will be asked to start in the back.
