Connecting Winston-Salem to High Point
The Winston-Salem Amtrak Connector now meets both the Carolinian and Piedmont trains making it possible to travel both south and north. You also can make daytrips to Winston-Salem.
How to Catch the Connector
The Connector provides shuttle service between the Winston-Salem Transportation Center, Winston-Salem State University and the High Point Amtrak Station. Just present your Amtrak tickets (or Passenger Reservation Number) to the shuttle driver. One fare takes care of your entire trip - the ride to the station and your train ticket.

Baggage
There is no checked baggage service in High Point. Passengers are limited to 2 carry-on bags (up to 50 lbs each). Carry-on limits do not apply to purses, briefcases, laptops, car seats and strollers.
Parking
In Winston Salem – Free parking is available in spaces marked for Winston-Salem Amtrak Connector customers in the One West Fourth Street parking deck at Liberty and West Fourth streets. (Entrance is on Liberty Street). |
