PART Express Service Enhancements - Business 40 

PART secured funding to enhance bus service into Winston-Salem to help reduce congestion during the Business 40 Closure. In addition to enhanced bus service, PART will also be providing additional Business 40 Resources.

PART Express Bus Service Adjustments - Routes 6, 17, and 28


Final service adjustments for the Business 40 Routes were presented and approved at the PART Board of Trustees meeting. Public comments were accepted and used to determine the best adjustments for the routes to continue to provide the highest level of service most efficiently.

These new schedules/routes will be implemented on Monday May 6, 2019.

The following adjustments effective May, 6, 2019:

Route 6 Surry County Express


Most trips remain the same. If no passengers on bus in evening, bus will not continue to Pilot/Mt Airy. Truliant stop time moved on morning trip.

Route 17 Kernersville Express


Combine Routes 17 and 18 to create a single route which will be called Route 17 with a revised schedule. Add Forsyth Medical Center as stop.

Route 28 West Forsyth Express


Eliminated some mid-day trips, times were slightly adjusted. Time point for Forsyth Medical Center shown instead of Bethesda (which is still served).
